  I'm back again, just like Britney. I'm here to tell you that Cup O'Joy is my guilty pleasure. It's my haven. It's my refuge. It's where I go after everything in my day has gone wrong, and it's where I go for everything to go right. No matter what I'm going through, there's nothing a cup of boba and an order of popcorn chicken from Cup O'Joy can't fix! And if one order doesn't do it, order two. I don't know what it is but it's comforting to see the music videos play in the background not match the music that's playing in the shop. I guess this is what authenticity looks like.
  
  Beware the employees, they're too good at their jobs! I was once convinced to change my regular popcorn chicken order to the chicken strips and I regret it. It was more expensive, and the chicken strips became soggy after a few minutes. Never again. Nothing beats a crunchy all around, never failing popcorn chicken bite.
  
  The boba, I love it too! The tapioca balls are smooth and easy to go down. The flavors (Thai Tea is my go-to) are always so rich. The boba here is honestly addicting. I appreciate how creative they get with their flavor combinations. I also appreciate how there's free wifi! (password: cupojoyonly) Bathrooms are key only, make sure to ask for it at the front. Parking can be a little tight sometimes, but hey, it's LA. They provide stamp cards, you get 1 free drink after every 10 drinks you buy. What else can I say, this place is great!

  The drink I got was really yummy and sweet. I like the vibe of the shop because everyone said welcome to me as I walked in.
  
  The chicken strips were really juicy! I didn't except a Boba shop to serve these. I just wish there was more sauce.
  
  Parking was difficult and I to park a side street away which was kind of annoying. Don't come here in the evening around dinner time.
  
  All in all, I thought the food and drink was delish and the inside environment was nice :)

  Wow, I didn't expect to find a decent quality Taiwanese boba shop in the USC area. This place has a good variety of milk teas and fruit teas. I particularly liked the lychee green tea. The server was extremely nice and even offered me a sample of the fried chicken hot from a pan and it was a huge piece..
  
  Parking is a bit of a struggle in the small plaza but very do-able if you're patient (beware some spots are reserved for other stores only)

  I tried their popcorn chicken meal.
  It seems like they double or triple fried their chicken. It was so dry and I felt like I was eating the coating only. There was barely any chicken...never coming back.

  I had the best experience at cup o joy this past weekend. They have the sweetest staff, the owner Tim was so nice to share his story and how hard his team works on having high quality food and great flavors. It's really close to usc so it's a perfect location for a late night bite or if you are me a boba at all hours of the day. We ordered the chicken strips which came with a spicy sriracha sauce, pork dumplings, cucumber mint iced tea with aloe, Thai iced tea with lychee jelly, Oreo milk shake, popcorn chicken and not pictured, Sea Salt Cream Green Tea (highly recommend) I can't wait to go back and keep exploring the menu.
  They have a lot so parking is pretty good. They also have free WiFi which is perfect since it's near the university.
  They also have reusable cups with their slogan "All you need is a Joy"
